It's looking like it's going to be a nice weekend so I'm heading to the mountains. Doing Coumshingaun loop Saturday. I've never done it before so if anyone has advice or wants to join then great. 3 to 4 hours. Hope this thread has less tumble than the mountain |

Wear good boots.
Do the loop clockwise.
Be careful on the rocks on the way down.
Use the designated carpark only. On the road can get you a parking ticket. |

"Thanks Badger. Does the carpark fill up early and if so is there another one nearby?"
No other car park nearby.
It should be ok before 12ish but it gets busy with families just walking in as far as the lake and back in the afternoon. |

A wonderful place, a beautiful scenic route, where you can really get tired because of the steep climbs. Make sure you have the right hiking boots and good weather. This place is on my list, but I won't make it there on Saturday morning. |
