Was in Cork a few weeks ago and would recommend:
Mutton Lane Bar
The Raven Bar (Great food too)
But my fav and a late bar and club:
Crane Lane Theatre 💃💃
Lots of different rooms great bands and DJ's!
Somewhere very quirky and if you like Nicholas Cage:
The Friary Bar

Well back in the hotel now here's what I have found out and hopefully it helps someone else..
Mutton lane bar quite small located down an alleyway but not a bad spot. Couldn't stay there all night personally.
Mamacitas another very narrow pub but nice. Couldn't stay there too long either just not my vibe.
Voodoo rooms OMG what a great little find! 3 floors with different music on each floor. Opens around 11pm. I'll definitely be back there.
Brief encounters. Well I had to call in to see what this place was like on my way back.
Oh jaysus what a rough spot. Landed around midnight and was out within 2 minutes. About 7 lads just hanging around of varying ages looking for someone new to come in. I'd class it more as a gay club than anything else! It's very run down and just screams wtf am I doing in here?! Yeah I'd avoid that place like the plague!
All in all a decent night's out and if you got this far drop me a DM if you have any questions about accommodation as I ain't sharing that on here until I leave and I am heading up the road. |
