Had a sibling gathering today. 2 brothers & a twin sister. We wouldnt be together many times a year.
One brother takes a selfie of us....I look awful in it 😏 He posts it on social media, which is fine but I look a state.
Loads of reasons why I dont look great at the mo & I know I'm too self critical. I was looking in the mirror telling myself I look better in person 🙄 |

I've only ever seen one photo of myself that I really liked and that was years back when I was playing a gig and had no idea I was being photographed.
It was my profile pic on here for a good amount of time.
I tend to have an awkward look that reflects how I feel when having my photo taken, and especially when taking photos of myself. |

Unfortunately, we live in a time where self doubt creeps in and self consciousness can take over... a time where men and women think that its ok to pay for boob jobs, lip jobs and anything else on offer, all because confidence might be at a low... OP, looking at your pics, there is nothing wrong, and you should be proud of how you look |

I can't stand being in photos every Christmas and family events get in get in no thanks and when I do it's always wrong when I see the results .
But I realised it's me with low self esteem and confidence.
It's in your head I bet you look amazing although you don't feel like that but that's ok too not too feel that way everyone does.
just remember they want you there for many other reasons . |

My issue here is people feel free to post on social media without asking.
This is especially true of the folks active on FB.
They seem to think it's okay to post all aspects of their life, without asking those others in the pics for consent!
