West Cork

Cork is way more friendlier and way more less expensive.

East cork

Cork.. Less expensive not as busy. Maybe less couples but if its less it's only by a few. Lovely hotels too not as expensive as Dublin. Direct flights to and from

Cork people are clearly quite biased 😄

Cork is a great town for meeting people but obviously the difference in population will affect your pool of potential meets.

Dublin can be be fabulous if cities are your thing and it's worth a visit if you've never been.

Probably your best bet is to check out the events going in and around both Cork and Dublin for the dates you're looking at - much easier way to meet couples in either city. There's a long events thread in the Ireland forums you can check

Best of luck!

Dublin / Cork

I’m from Cork and down in Cork regularly but living in Dublin. If it’s purely on which location is more likely for chance of meets then Dublin wins.

DUBLIN

Cork and I'm from Dublin. No experience of meeting Cork couples, but I know the road to Cork well! That's all I'm saying. Kinsale is a great location to stay in. Fab food, nice range of hotels and close to the airport.
