One day I decided to count the new members joining. A random, unscientific sampling.
There was roughly 10 men, 2 couples and 1 woman.
Most of the men come and go. A lot of the couples are probably men. Most of the women don't want to advertise themselves.
But
There are a lot of women on here and a lot of couples. For example My wife used to read our messages but had no interest in talking to anyone.
This site is a resource best used with socials and meet and greets. You go to a social and you will find lots of really interesting people.
That's when this site is at its best. Keeping a network of contacts interested in you and keeping up with these people. Once you are part of a community you can do anything.
Just randomly fishing for women doesn't work. |

No one should be discouraged or told there's only one way to use the site.
I had five one to one coffee meets within eight weeks of joining and I didn't need to join the community to do it.
There's a great community on fab to be sure. There's actually a few different ones. It's by no means mandatory to get involved if you want to fuck people though. |

This exactly. I was about 10 years “on the scene” before I ever went to a social, exclusively met single guys and I don’t think any of them were going to socials either.
Socials are great but aren’t for everyone. Personally, I don’t find the big night time ones any good for meeting new people so I don’t go to them anymore. |

I imagine like most things it's hit or miss. I do like socials though as you do meet people in person rather than endless messages to arrange a one to one, then you can tell wether your interested or not. you can't really tell what someone's like through a few texts or pics as from my experience iv found people are nicer in person, that's looks and personality. And some people like myself isn't great at photos either lol so it's handy. Haven't been to one in a few years though so planning on getting back out there. |
