I presume you're going to the rsc for the shels match? The viking hotel is where travelling teams usually go for pre-match meals and to relax so if you booked there and got down early enough it'd be a chance to meet them, it's a bit out so taxi in to city centre. If you stayed in the Central hotels others have mentioned you could walk to the ground and all the pubs, just depends on budget but they'll all do the job. Jordans pub is near the rsc and where all the Waterford fans meet up and on a Monday it's probably your best bet for few pints and bitta craic before/after, not sure how busy apple market area would be on a monday |
