It's not rude to not reply though. That's even written into the site FAQ's. It's much less disheartening when you proceed on that basis.
No one asked for your message.

Obviously mens and women's experience on this site are very very different. With the amount of messages we get a day we have to apply our personal filters and boundaries.
For instance sending a dick pic as an introductory message along with "how was your weekend?" will be ignored by I'd imagine most women on here. For me personally foreplay starts at the first interaction.
If I do reply to someone it's because I was in the mood of chatting, their profile pic and profile stood out and the message was short and engaging.
It really would be impossible to reply to every message we get, so all I can say it try not to take the no replies as a personal rejection |

Like others above have said if someone messages me and their profile doesn't appeal then I don't reply.
In fact I rarely reply anymore because I'm not looking to meet anyone new,and I learnt on here that 99 per cent of people who claim they are happy just to chat, aren't. And within a few messages start pushing to meet just because I've replied to them. Even when I have clear from the start that I am not meeting anyone new at present.
So for me personally that's why I don't reply to most messages.
And yes like others has also said a dick pic as a profile pic is just meh and really doesn't stand out amongst the 1000s of other dick pics on here. And yes I know what the site is but you become dick blind on here and I've yet to see on that makes me want to meet or answer anyone on that alone . |

I get so many messages (the majority) from people who say I'm exactly what they're looking for, or they love my profile, or variations along those lines, and when I look at theirs there's no semblance of them being what I'm looking for. So if they either don't care what I'm looking for, or they didn't bother reading my profile (or did and ignored it), is it still rude if I don't reply? |

because females have a choice of thousands of males and males barely have a choice, my profiles not perfect but if i don't get a reply I'm not fussed. Suppose if a profile catches someone's eye it wouldn't matter what the first msg you sent was. It's all image on here just like in real life.

Rarely message profiles, but if you're going to , make sure you've read their profile and make sure you fit into their preferences, if you not in their age bracket, not into their kink, or aren't prepared to send facepic straight off the bat and they're looking one, don't feckin mail them. When I started on here I attempted to answer every message just to be polite. Two things happened generally. The man 'turned" nasty on me (go eat salad was one of the nicer ones) or they started whining and needy. It also took up so much of my time. So I just had to call time on that.

So I’ve pretty much closed my account as not meeting at the moment, but when it was live I would get a lot of messages very day and I couldn’t rely to the all. But these are the things I did;
I first look at the pics- if rubbish- no reply
Second- location. I’d not south Dublin, probably wouldn’t reply
Third thing I noticed- you don’t accom or travel- why would anyone reply to that.
Forth thing I noticed- you bio says very little. The bio lets me know if our kinks or sexual preferences align. No bio- no reply . |
