I guess it’s what you’re in the mood for
I watched Wild for first time the other night but then I was definitely in a fuck you universe vibe 😂
The Perfect Couple with Nicole Kidman, I enjoyed that but it’s a mini series.
The Diplomat or Black Dove I watched recently that had hints of politics….but again series. The Residence is another and super kooky.
Jeez…starting to realise I mainly watch series. Have you tried asking ChatGPT? 🤭

Depends on your taste but recently I’ve enjoyed both Heretic and Longlegs, even though I’m not really a horror buff.
For action, Rebel Ridge on Netflix is excellent. I’d recommend Wind Rover also (but not sure where it’s streaming). |

Rewatched No Country for Old Men recently. It was very good. Much better than I remembered.
Hell or High Water is another good neo western. Chris Pine and Jeff Bridges in it.
Left field recommendation. Another modern western. The three burials of melquiades estrada. Tommy Lee Jones directed western. He’s avenging the wrongful shooting of his friend by border patrol.
Unusual movie but very good. I found it streaming g for free on a site called Plex. |

"Nothing good on TV, could scroll netflix for hours and find nothing. So any good movie recommendations would be greatly appreciated " when i was younger the scary movies were all the exorcist, evil dead etc, but what freaked me out was a film called, (the manitou) don't know why it freaked me out but apparently it was a true story. There's very few sites you can get it from for some reason

Some great suggestions so far, I recently watched a film called drop (not to be confused with The Drop starring tom hardy). It's a thriller/mystery set in a restaurant, I won't give anything away but a good watch and not too long |

"I watched (rewatched, but it has been a while) The Bourne Identity on TV last night. What a great movie. Completely implausible but 100% pure entertainment and escapism for a few hours."
The first three Bourne movies were outstanding- far better than Bond ! |

I watched that a couple of weeks ago and enjoyed it, despite some implausible elements in it. |

I watched that years ago and it most definitely wasn't a true story. |
