I have been a McLaren fan for a few years now. As much as I am loving the rise of McLaren this season, I was in total shock at the sharp 'exit' of CH from Red Bull F1. was he sacked? Did he just decide to leave? Was he pushed? The scandal last year of his alleged inappropriate behavi0ur towards a member of staff was extremely disappointing & I did think then that it wasn't handled very well. He should have been suspended while any investigation was being conducted. Is this what is coming back to bite him in the ass now?
I also seen a few hints online that Max has been looking to get away from RB too. what the heck is going on over there? it's distracting from the sport itself but I do believe that if anyone has been accussed of what CH has been accused of it should be handled by outside authorities away from FIA & F1 & that the person(accussed) ....no matter who they are should have to face possible prosecution by the police. It is unacceptable behaviour in any world of sport & life. It is ALLEDGED that CH behaved inappropriately over texts emails & in person for a long time before it was reported. I feel sad that in 2025 people are still afraid to come forward to make a complaint of this nature. I feel sad that this behaviour is still an issue needing to be reported in the first place.
Again this is only my opinion! Not looking for rows or nasty comments. just a chat about a sport I love with a huge cloud hanging over it....AGAIN!!! |

Imo it's as simple as max saying it's either him or me that goes, horner is replaceable atm max isn't he's the only thing keeping RB some bit up there as the poor lad whose 2nd driver probably won't be in f1 for much longer the rate he's going. Aswell I've heard Jos the boss don't get on with Horner he has big cloat in rb too. |

I was told one time by a salesman that your only as good as ones last sale .. i guess when your not winning at your game it out the door anyway i would think Horner was on the slippery slope since the allegations last year |

Two things I’ve heard is Max has already asked to leave, so he was sacked. Or Max said, him or me, so he was sacked.
Ultimately it all started unraveling when Jos, Max’s dad, found out that Horner was texting a girl that Jos was sleeping with (or used to sleep with). Jos was out for blood after that.
Not sure if the sexting inquiry was about the same girl Horner was texting or someone else but it seemed like a witch hunt. |

Well horner got a little horny and sent some dick pics around and I tell ya it was nothing to be send around by the looks of it.
I also thought he and geri allegedly are swingers perhaps his on this site either way his not going to end up on the bread line.
shur he will probably walk into a new manager job at audi or maybe even take over at ferrari if things don't improve although I can't see ferrari wanting a British manager anytime soon |

Look at the other people that left the RB team since the scandal broke. Integral members of a successful team, that took offence to the handling of the affair and they have been slipping since. H had enough sway to get through the scandal but obviously not enough to get through bad results. |

I think since Dietrich passed away, Horner lost not only a friend, but an ally. Since Dietrichs' son has inherited the 49% ownership of the RBF1 Team things started to shift? Maybe Jos has been a flea in Marc's ear..? |

Life long F1 fans, the worst part of it all was the women he was sending messages to was dating Jos Verstappen so that created double trouble and Max is loyal to his father. If that wasn't bad enough this created a split camp in Red Bull and that's when key members of staff started leaving and not being replaced by people of the same calibre and this has really effected the cars - Max has his get out clause based on performance and Mercedes is happy to pay the 106 million penalty clause as well as Maxs 55 million wages. Red Bulls investors are panicking because of all of this and and Horny Horner is the common denominator! Next stop Ferrari or Alpine |
