North Cork

We are currently in Lithuania. We love the local food and drink . But I like a wee drop of whiskey after dinner. I am really surprised by the amount of smaller Distillery whiskeys available here.

Delighted to see it.

somewhere

Was working in a small Whiskey distillery near the border today

He told me its very hard in the industry at the moment

3 different distilleries have gone bust this month alone

He concentrates on Europe as he doesn't have to worry about taffifs

.....

Most of the distillery projects that have failed had concentrated more on visitor facilities and vastly overspent on that aspect of their developments. Those that concentrated on the production and marketing of high quality spirits have weathered the Covid and tariff storms and will continue to prosper.
