Probably a very niche and obscure topic, however I'd like to exchange some opinions and preferences around what photography equipment do you like to use, especially in intimate settings?
Apart from the obvious AI driven cameras on most of the modern mobile phones, I am into using old manual lenses on either Sony's NEX-5T, Canon 70d/6d mk2.
Prefer the Sony cause it has manual focus edge highlighting, and it's easier to carry around.
The manual lenses because they give me more control over what I do.
I have two old m42 format ones: a Carl Zeiss Jenna 135 and a 50mm Industar with a deadly bokeh.
So, what's your weapon of choice?

Canon 6D MK1, 85mm f1.8, 50mm f1.4 and more recently 35mm f2.0
Most recent purchase has been a very cheap multicolour LED "sunset" lamp off Shein which has actually proven to be alot of fun to use. It gives a very defined circle of light so great for contrast and shadows etc.

I have the NEX6 and, yes, the Industar 50mm, although actually I generally stick with the Sony 16-50 pancake on it. It's a good little camera but I find the menus and handling clunky, so my weapon of choice is actually the Nikon Z6II with the 24-120. Heavy, but it's a super setup. |
