I have the implinon (spelt wrong ) bar in my arm and it works great for me but my sister also had it and her husband told her he would divorce her if she didn't get it out because her mood was so bad with it |

The coil is great if it suits you. But I've just had a coil removed, have had 6 months of pain and random bleeding along with a 3 week cycle. It just didn't suit me. But it was worth trying as I know so many who it worked for and they have no issues. |

I don't have a comparison as I only ever had the mirena coil. It suits me very well as I don't have any period on it once it settled. However, I also know plenty women, who have tried it and didn't get on with it at all. |
