A friend of mine loves book-nooks, and I just saw the most amazing one ...
I'm not going to try a link, but just search for "Nerdforge book nook" on YouTube, it genuinely amazes me how much effort some people put into these projects ...
Hope it's OK to share this here ... would love to have a conversation about books, and nooks, and all things nerdy! |

"I've made a couple of these - from kits, but they still took several days to complete
It's my latest obsession and a great way to pass time on certain holidays if you're on your own "
I'm about to cover a wall in a big room at home with IKEA Billy Bookcases, and really looking forward to adding some nooks ... |

We have a few book nooks in the house here. Laser cutting has really made it possible to get really nicely detailed kits for very reasonable prices.
Big Nerd Forge fans here too |

It's threads like these that need to be shut down ASAP
...only messing Op!
I didn't know anything about book nooks until I saw this. Until now, have only got 70's and 80's action figures on my book shelves so gonna get me a book nook!
...and for all you out there who think books are "nerdy" Remember this, without The Kamasutra, The Joy Of Sex, 50 Shades Of Gray, The Story Of O, Lady chatterley's lover or Playboy... there may never have been Fab, me or even you
So it's a wonderful life and books rule! "
If it weren't for Story of O, I'd have an illegible alphanumeric username |
