Anyone any experience in Blanch area gyms, I see online Ger Conroy, Ben Dunne and Sports Campus Ireland one looks good, small independent gyms tend not to have showers but that's a must as being used early morning before work. Any feedback great, thank you.

Sports campus has the gym but membership usually includes the sauna jacuzzi, steam room and access to the 50m pool and also the kids slides area.

I prefer Ben Dunne, the gym area is much larger than in the Sports Campus. But if you want a swimming pool and saunas, then the Sports Campus is the best.

Really depends on a lot of things picking gyms, like you said showers a must ..I also find if going straight to work is traffic around it busy, if you want a pool or not ..BD very good equipment gym but no pool if that's a must so National Campus better if that's the case, there is Flyfit but no pool there ..also if you do the odd spin/cardio etc class their time table in what ever gym will be a consideration ..i go to 2 gyms for that reason cause then I can get best of both worlds although pool isn't a consideration for me

National campus is the best option, but a bit expensive.

Flye is grand but very busy

Thanks. Good range of classes in Sports Campus also. Also yoga which is great. Started using AI lately for works, type in what ya want to do and great workouts thrown up. Coming into winter the sauna and steam room option is starting to sound good. Traffic should be ok as I head out Cavan Rd after so not toward town. Thanks

Westmeath The West.

Was working in Dublin recently and looking for a gym.

Must say, I was very surprised at the lack of and quality of gyms in Dublin. Very poor!

Seems to be a lot of Cross-fit type stuff and whatever next craze comes along!

Yes lots of smaller private gyms which I was a member of until changed job, needed to get one with showers etc, Bem Dunne well rated also but the Sports Campus one I'm delighted with now. Good and clean also where some are a mess

FlyeFit is on Coolmine Ind Est too. It's not far from the shopping centre.

There is plenty of independent gyms around Blanch also.

Was always a member of the independent gym and like to support them but lack of showers the issue for me with new job. Handy early morning, get in and done rather than tell yourself you'll go after work and then spend the day talking yourself out of it.
