It's a bit weird bringing a gift for a first meet, me thinks.

But, if it's your first 'date' and they're hosting at home I don't object to bringing a bottle or something for the host.

If I was going to a house I'd probably bring a packet of biscuits and some wine if we were drinking.

I wouldn't bring a gift to someone I wasn't seriously crushing on otherwise.

I know a lot of women here that have gotten crazy gifts. While I got offered a fuck in a car or van when was here as a single girl lol

On a serious note: no I don't expect anything except for manners z& punctuality. Gifts are for daters, friends etc fabbers are neither of these to me.
