"People over complicate things. See fault or problem where there isn’t. What’s wrong with it? "
I'd hate it to ever cause a problem for my child is all, hence why I said to wait til the child was in a different class 🤷 |

Agree 100%, if it’s going to happen, it will happen, why risk it now when your child is in her class? |

If ye flirt, ye flirt.
I dont see why it would affect the child if both people are professional, discreet when its needed.
The child is the most important thing at the end of the day. If their teacher & dad do date, once they keep that in mind, I dont see what the issue is 🤷♀️ |

Yep, exactly the same opinion on it. For me, those two spheres of my life don't overlap. |

Exactly... IF. Other parents picking up a vibe and talking. Perhaps someone seeing you together. It gets back to your child and they end up mortified. Or their school friends find out and tease them relentlessly. Accusations of favouritism. Or worse, it all goes tits up and it gets taken out on your child.
But hey, it's not me and it's not a situation I'd put myself in but everyone has their own boundaries. The guy asked for opinions; this is mine and my reasons for holding it

"The rule I have for me is that if someone is working and in a professional capacity than it's inappropriate, if you were to meet this lady in a bar or here even than yere both adults ✌️"
This makes good sense, and it's respectful to the other persons professional position. |

I like to have a healthy level of disrespect to people's professional positions
I always call my doctor by his first name. I wouldn't dream of calling a local councillor by his title maybe I'm just an asshole |

I tend to look towards the worst case scenario and with school teachers there's a chance my child might get the wrong end of the stick. I'd act in what I felt was my kids best interest.
Plus I don't want to have to turn up at the school gate every day for the next eleven years thinking it might be awkward.
I'd flirt but that's it. |
