Humour?

Where has all of the humour now fled?

It once danced in each thing that we said.

Now jokes are all filtered,

And punchlines seem wilted—

Did laughter just get out of bed?

Oh dear oh dear you do sound glum

Why are you not having fun

Do you need a merry chum

Or someone to teasingly pinch your bum

Oh to share a joke that's dirty but clever

With a punchline that tickles like a feather

A double entendre, a wink even a tease

Like moaning at puns while weak in the knees

Our laughter is gone, now this is sad.

When did the world gets so bad.

They try to control us and what we view.

To all who hate laughter we say fuck you!

Seems more like a limerick thread lol

I am sure someone will correct me as I know there is certain criteria to be met for rhymes to be limericks.

But Im struggling now to write it

I've got writers block

So I'll just whip out me cock

And browse some nice pics of nice tits

I don't think she understood,

To commit I needed to see under the hood,

Her ability to swallow left some impression,

Now my need for her juices is causing depression,

Forgive my obsession, a man's transgression.

The hood gave wood to the miss who understood.

A helper who shines like the sun,

You’ve brightened my days, every one.

With laughter and cheer,

I’m glad you are near—

You’re magic, a star, second to none!

Temptation shouldn’t knock or call,

It waits in shadows dressed to stall

A lingering glance, a naughty grin,

A teasing sin to draw you in

A brush of fingers, barely there

A spark, a chill, a whispered dare

It doesn't beg it doesn’t plead

But inspires you to your knees

....

Humour and wit can be said

To be black or blue hue when its read.

It will always be crass

From lips that lick ass

But should never fly flags that are red.

No, OP is from Offaly, not Limerick.

I guessed orange, but it was chocolate. I guessed toffee, but it was peanut. I guessed strawberry, but it was coffee. I was wrong on so many Revels.

They told me I’d never be any good at poetry because I’m dyslexic but so far I’ve made 2 jugs and a vase!
