You can certainly tell your story here just don't name and shame as the forum rules state and you should be able to give your opinion and side of the story. Not trying to be rude or cheeky at all so please don't think we are. We are very curious about what happened to you |

just to be totally honest, i was not a very nice person that night and i had way too much to drink, and i definitely said some things that were out of character and i did apologise to the hosts for my behaviour
but besides all that i do think a host should take responsibility for their guests |

I think in the first case a guest should be responsible for their own behaviour
If they are a danger to themselves or others then they should be taken care of by whoever notices the behaviour if at all possible
The host can't be everywhere at all times |

the hosts in this scenario locked me in a car, i had no water, no phone and most importantly no inhaler , my belongings were thrown into a cupboard as if i didn't exist. .
they told people at the party that i went home . when in fact i was locked into a car and not even a window opened for me |

Jesus that's awful, and it's false imprisonment. I assume you reported it to the guards and they are pressing charges? |

Can I ask not judging btw what is the point of this story ?? Is it to name the couple that organised it ?
If it really happened you should name them for the safety of others. If you dont what is the point in this thread? And my own personal opinion is If this happened like you say you shouldn't really post this here you should go to the Garda |

Is there not a button in most cars to open the doors? Could they have been trying to get you to sleep it off maybe for your own good. Just speaking from experience as I sometimes had a few too many too. |

In this scenario, I would expect hosts to look after their guests and remove anybody that would be getting d*unk or disorderly at a party.
It is certainly not their responsibility to babysit you while you get pissed.
They most likely put you in a car to sleep it off! I can understand how you might have been embarrassed afterwards, but that can often be a good time for some self reflection! |

Firstly did they sell you the drink, or did you bring your own drink to this event. |

There are scenarios where a person, particularly a very d*unk person, can be locked in a car. Child locks for example. A highly inebriated person in the back seat might well feel trapped.
A lot of modern cars can also be double locked or 'dead locked' with the key fob and in that case the door won't open from the inside as an anti theft measure if the window is smashed from the outside.
OP I sincerely hope that you weren't truly locked into a vehicle in that state. Its not safe and it's a pretty egregious action along with being a very serious accusation.
The host's have the right to reply to this. No doubt there were many witnesses. I could only hope that while you were removed from the party, you were also being kept safe.

This is the most bizarre post I've heard in a while. I've many questions. For example
Why didn't you just leave the party when you realised you were too d*unk?
How did you end up in the car were you physically forced in there?
Whose car was it?
Why couldn't you just open the front car door?
What specifically happened for you to be removed from the party?
Were you asked to leave before the car incident?
Id also need to hear the other side of this story to decide my opinion on this |

How can you have a clear account of it if you were d*unk though
These parties come with rules and those rules are to protect all of the guests and hosts and party ive attended or hosted a point is made of no excessive drinking so what was the hosts alternative action to take? |

i totally accept there are rules and never said i was innocent in all this
i can understand being put somewhere to sleep it off
but can you imagine realizing you are locked into a car in a field, freezing cold no water and none of my belongings

Something doesn’t add up here with this story 🤔🤔
As filthy nights stated above
Lots of questions to be answered
Within the last 6 months we had No freezing cold nights .
Locked in a car in a field 🤔🤔
Are you sure this wasn’t a dream 💭 you had

What are you actually hoping to achieve by coming on here and airing this ??
Sympathy 🫢
If that happened to me ( getting rat arsed d*unk and having to be removed from the party by the hosts for being abusive or whatever the reason) I wouldn’t be coming on here telling the fab world 🌎 on the forum
Because there are a lot of people on here with various opinions and questions to your allegations.

"there's no allegations
Never said i wanted to achieve anything
this is a public forum and i have as much right to write here as you"
Yes your entitled to write whatever you choose
In saying that your coming on here saying that they treated you badly and seems like a case of false imprisonment being locked in a car without your belongings… were you locked in it against your will or did you agree to get into the car on your own merit??
You can’t Name the hosts on here as for forum rules but are you trying to out them without naming them ??
There’s 2 sides to every story 🤔🤔 |

"Did the night finish with you apologising for your behaviour and getting all your belongings back ..then sleeping it off "
It ended in a car 🚗 in a field on her toblerone
No happy ending there Bog |

As someone myself who has attended house partys of various nature's over the years , be it birthdays or family gathering or some other form of house party and yes there has being occasions where I've had to sleep in a car for a few hours for 1 reason or another afterwards , and it's not unusual to wake up to the feeling of freezing from the cold even if the temperatures haven't actually dropped into the minuses, all it's takes is for your blood to tin out a little from the alcohol and your natural body temperature will drop even if only by a few degrees , but it's enough at time to actually give the feeling of being much colder then you actually are .
And as for waking up in a car in a field come on who else hasn't, ive parked up plenty of time in fields beside house's simple because there may not have being enough space in the yard and the households own the fields so it's just makes sence to park a few cars over night in there.
Ok so maybe there still a few holes in the story or a few blanks to be filled in yet , but for me it's plausible that this is real |

So the party wasn't in the city.
The hosts must entertain somewhere, where the parking is a field location.
And I can attest that sleeping in a car no matter what time of the year , if you don't have a blanket is not nice , and you will wake up cold.
Sounds like you were a naughty girl. Naughty girls need to be punished , but I think everyone can agree not not this.

So if you were put in a playroom to sleep it off, the other paying guests are at a loss to the use of that room although thats what parties are usually about not as much a session 🤔 |

Seems bizarre to come out with it six months later but at least you’ve owned up to your behaviour on the night. I think the hosts probably did take some responsibility by placing you in a car for your own safety. Maybe there was no rooms available at whatever venue you were at. The most important thing here is this, there’s three sides to every story, yours, there’s and somewhere in the middle is the truth.

But you haven't really told anyone anything, other than you got pissed at a party and the hosts locked you into a car to sleep it off...... or am I missing something?
More context is required as I'm struggling to see the point of this thread 🤷♀️ |

Obviously you can't tell your full story...and neither will the hosts I imagine.
I don't think it's relevant whether men or women post on this. I'm sure men get loud and d*unk at parties too and would get probably be completely blacklisted immediately.
I'm lucky that if I have one too many I have a partner to mind me. But all parties state that you should be careful how much you drink. Ok, plenty make that mistake
Who'd be a party host? Not me that's for sure.

You have a right to tell your story. But on a public forum people are gonna ask questions. You can choose not to answer them. But in doing so it's gonna lead to more questions and more suspicion that's just the way it works. |

I agree with others, u shouldn't of allowed urself to get into that state in the 1st place. It's swingers party's & safety should've been ur no 1, no-one is obliged to look out for you & it sounds like u were put there to keep u safe, u had to have a way out of the car from the inside!! How would they know where & what belongings were urs, they'd still be there for u to collect when u sobered up.
