Lots of people keep saying "Attend socials!"
Even more people push back with "socials aren't my thing, I prefer 1:1 etc."
The amount of people preaching about attending socials might seem preachy and pushy and may even feel like some kind of indoctrination or a scam.
In reality a lot of people have been here and other sites for many years, they have met a wide range of people between complete melts to downright dangerous individuals or have been let down by the wanking dead, who are all talk, but chicken out last min.
At least by doing the footwork yourself once in a blue moon attending a reputable social- you'll be able to make new connections face to face with potential future meets. You'll know they showed up, how they look, how they smell, how they behave.. even how they kiss.
Things to look out for: make sure that the organizer has behaviour, verification, profile standards not just on paper, but actually follow through with them. Watch how they communicate with you - are they informative and answer specific questions openly or just drop a generic "can't wait to c u cum" bullshit.
Any reputable organizer will ensure to only invite people, who aren't known to be perpetual let downs or to be dangerous in any way.
Every single organizer we know (us included) started doing what they do because they wanted to make swinging more open, safe and overall a better experience for other people and help meet ones, who are more reliable.
This is not some weird HC ad. Anyone is free to attend any social they wish anywhere in the world.
What I'm trying to say is - there's people like us out there, who have gone through the same struggle and decided to put in a bit of graft to help others have a better time, than they did at the start of their own journey. It's worth looking into that side of swinging as it's ultimately safer on many levels and it saves you time overall (time not wasted on some internet wankers, who end up being no shows, who are all talk is time saved)

I like meeting at socials, its a way to meet and get comfortable with the person and then arrange another meet. But lots of ppl assume that I can drop everything and meet when ever suits them... |

I'm one for the socials. Great way to meet people, and kill alot of nerves. Given how much I shit it attending my first, I can only imagine the nerves from a potential meet. Did make the mistake of booking a room once to meet a couple who backed out an hour before. But did enjoy the room over sleeping in car for a Dublin trip hahaha |

yes I 100% understand where your coming from, I first joined fab and thought I could fuck anything going and was gona be some sort of porn star. I was wrong jumped into the deep end for a first meet and he was there expecting a show for his wife, which was a new so didn't happen, wasn't her fault she was gorgeous, now iv had several meets which I clearly state im only into socials first so I know who I'm meeting and have a sort of conversation with, it's easy for some and not for others, I wouldn't waste anyone's time on a random request on a Saturday night who I know fuckall about, but saying that I have met wives who hubby's let come here. Long story short everyone thinks they're a porn star until it gets to the sex. I personally have moved along way since then and love a wife and husband situation. |
