It's gone ridiculous lately. New woman profile last night from Carlow with a mobile number in her status and it is linked with an (cant use exact word as not allowed) specific services offering related site. In fairness they are easy enough to spot and out and even easier to report. Although I reported it last night, the profile is still active  |

It's an issue across every social media site. A Garda I know told me recently the amount of people that give out their Whatsapp and end up getting threatened by the advertiser is through the roof. Amazingly easy to find someone's name, where they work, family situation once you have their number or basic personal information. |

In the last year, I'd say 20 female profiles I messaged were Pay as you go. The obvious ones for me are those with a daft location, such as Bolton, Co. Longford or similar, combined with poor English is also a clue to a possible fake or scammer. |
