Work out what you like to do exercise wise, if you hate the gym.etc start off walking when you can, little routes you always take the car on try walking. Drink loads of water and reduce calories. If you go into chat gbt or similar and ask for a healthy weeks diet and add in the foods you like it will come up with a smart plan that tastes good, also good to give you good body weight exercises to start in conjunction with your walking. If you get stuck in and commit for a few weeks you will frow to enjoy it. Also if you drink try and take a month off, thats a game changer as those pints are killer with the calories!! You'll get loads of advice on this so work out which fits your life pratically |

Swimming is good. If you join a gym they can do out a program for you tailored to your needs.
Diet very important too. Some people swear by intermittent fasting. Going to try a 48 hour fast myself soon and see how it goes.
I find yoga is great also. |

Get down to the gym and meet with a pt,tell them your goals
Track everything you eat...day by day and see what you can change...more veg and fruit,less sugar
