Not in Germany but often in the Netherlands in the large sauna and wellness centers, similar etiquette applies, great way to spend the day,

Have spend days in Germany and Amsterdam being totally relaxed at these wellness centres.

Themed saunas and jacuzzis some holding up to 50 naked people at a time

Hire a robe and slippers while there

You wear an electronic tag to charge drink and lunch to your account that you pay on the way out

No phones

Just a relaxing 8 hours

Yes, Germany, Holland and Austria.

Leisure centres on a large scale with numerous steam rooms, saunas, hot tubs, aufguss experiences etc. All done naked.

The sauna culture is really growing in Ireland, but I think it's time to embrace the true European style of sauna and wellness centres. I've been to a couple in the Netherlands and it's a wonderfully relaxed atmosphere, clothes free is the way to go.
