I've been going down the comedy/light entertainment route recently. Favourites right now are "off menu" and "what did you do yesterday?". What are people listening to at the moment? And any recommendations? |

The Rest is History - very accessible and entertaining history podcast
Shagged, married, annoyed
Parenting Hell
The Lovely Show
The rest of mine are very niche and wouldn't appeal to a general audience

Cork, Kerry, Waterford and surrounds |
Don't know if any of these qualify as light entertainment OP, but they all tickle my grey matter and are easy on the ear...
1. The Blindboy Podcast
2. 99% Invisible
3. Twenty Thousand Hertz
4. What Trump can teach us about Con Law (interesting, but niche)
5. Darknet Diaries |

The Rest is History is one of my favourites as well. The two guys are coming to Dublin in April for a show on the history of the Titanic |

Love the swinging podcasts - Sexless Swingers used to be favourite. I'd advise anyone to start at the first episode though and follow through.
Wanderlust Swingers are more of an acquired taste which is my current fave. Bed hoppers I can take or leave. Can't get into the US ones at all.
A word of warning though - if you do listen avoid Spotify which can automatically share what you're listening to with the household. Also your Bluetooth settings in the car - you might want to avoid the titles appearing on the screen when you start the engine. Especially with the mother in-law or kids in the passenger seat |

Sports: Indo Sport very good and Everton Podcasts!!
The Rest is Politics
US Political ones very interesting right now!
The Jennifer Zamperelli one on Indo is quite good and covers good topics
Free State very good, I like Brolly but you'd love to give him a kick in the bollox at times.
Who Trolled Amber Herd very interesting |

Hi!! Thanks for recommending, but you say 'used to be'. What did we do wrong?
Also, I'd completely second S-Town; a quite incredible podcast!!!

Assume Nothing
The History Podcast
Tortoise Investigates
Sliced Bread
I've started S Town on a recommendation but I think it's one I need to listen to in the car rather than in bed at night - I've enjoyed it so far though |
