Going away for a night or 2 next week looking for nice hotel somewhere there is good food a nice bar for evening drinks and few activities around the area for during the day any recommendations  (not limerick or north) |

"Slieve Russell in Cavan is pretty good. Great bars and food.
Stairway to Heaven mountain hike pretty near and hotel has a golf course if you play. Buddhist centre very close by that you can visit."

Hard to beat Westport imo, some superb pubs and restaurants, loads of activities and great beaches not far away for walks, if you're into hiking you could take on Croke Patrick! Hotel Westport. |
