Crap thread title, sorry - inspiration deserted me!

With Series 29 of Silent Witness airing next week, it struck me that I've watched every single episode since it first came to the screen in February 1996...30 years of faithful viewing.

I've also watched every episode of Casualty since its debut in 1986, Holby City - 23 series from 1999 until 2022, and Grey's Anatomy since it's release in 2005.

So good square eyed people of the forum, which long running series have you been faithful to and watched every episode?

I can honestly say I haven't seen a single minute of any of those shows.

Most of the shows I have stuck with don't last more than 6 or 7 seasons and I've never watched an episode of any TV show now than once.

There are some shows that I've been faithful to the end but it has been extremely tough getting there and I've been glad to see it end such as GOT.

"Star Trek"

Now that I think of it that's probably true for me too.

I gave up on Dr Who when Tom Baker left and didn't return until Eccleston, got pissed off during Capaldis run, only watched a handful of Jodie Whittaker because the scripts were terrible and by the time it reached Ncuti it's become a complete shit show.

Exact same for Doctor Who

"I've also just realised I've seen every episode of Inspector Morse, Lewis and Endeavour "

Again I've never seen an episode of the first 2 and I've never heard of Endeavour.

I saw an article last year about some TV show that everyone was raving about and how the characters had developed over the years.

I'd never heard of it and was genuinely shocked when I saw it had been running for 11 or 12 years.

Terrestrial telly

Friends every single episode as it aired and still watch it most days

I can quote most of the lines before the characters say them

Box sets

The usual ones that everyone picks ....but that was binge watching usually

On a side note Amanda Burton is a complete ride in silent witness

Endeavour is the prequel to Inspector Morse, and probably my favourite of the three. Shaun Evans is brilliantly gauche in portraying young Morse

Westmeath The West.

Not many years watching, but still a show of my faith...In the very early days of Breaking Bad...I was one of very few that made it past Season 2.

Kingdom of Arnor, Meath

This is going to show how nerdy I am. Most shows lasted 7 or 8 series max. So nowhere as long as soaps but anyway

Star Trek - all of them except ST Discovery

Game of Thrones

The Expanse

Breaking Bad

Babylon 5 - if anyone remembers that

Taskmaster - I even watched one of the New Zealand series.

Battlestar Galactica - classic and reimagined series

Nowadays I don't have the same amount of patience or attention span. But I am following Severance, Foundation and Pluribus.

Back in the day it was ER for me.

I'd struggle these days trying to watch more than a few series of anything.

"Londons Burning

Glenroe "

14 years of London's Burning - watched all those too, also The Bill which ran for 26 years. I'd totally forgotten about them til you mentioned London's Burning.

Chicago Fire too come to think of it 🤔

I've very obviously got a type when it comes to television

I lost the will with The Blacklist. Criminal Minds also fell out of favour. Recently tried to pick it up again but it just wasn't doing it for me

I’m only starting back watching series again thanks to binging on Netflix, don’t like to arrange my world around tv schedules but when younger I never missed an episode of the Star Trek and next generation then fell in love with Buffy and had a man crush on Angel,

Xfiles was a never miss also
