Dublin west

Have one of the decathlon ones and it's great.

Has blackout material on the bedroom also to make sleeping in the summer easier.

Just spend a bit extra on the pump to make putting it up easier

I have one from decathlon also. Top quality material. As stated, the blackout bedroom make it awesome for being able to sleep during the early summer mornings. The upside of inflatable tents is the speed at which they can be put up and stored away. The downside is the weight. They are on the heavy side. As for a pump I have an electric pump that I set the pressure on and it cuts out when it reaches the desired pressure but I always carry a manual pump as backup just incase

They are very handy tent. I got mine on Amazon during one of the sale weekends. Vango Brand. Since buying ive bought more bits and bobs, like camping kitchen etc. You could end up going down a rabbit hole.

Camping is great fun. Are there any genuine Camping folk here.

Looking forward to summer ☀️.

I need a bigger tent.

Inflatable sounds good to go with my Inflatable river raft

I love getting away camping. Im currently planning a camping trip around Europe. Ferry to France and then go wherever the road takes me for 3 weeks

Good feed back, do enjoy camping, but at times putting up a tent with poles is a pain or worse talking them down and putting it away on your own

I completely agree. Taking them down is a real pain. What is do enjoy is going camping with friends. Ive the tent set up with the bed done. Bbq on, sitting down drinking a beer laughing at my mater trying to figure out where each pole goes. It never gets old.

As for taking down an air tent. Its simple. It can also be a pain if your on your own trying to get it folded and rolled. Its doable but just very awkward

I would love to put a roof tent on my jeep. Quick set up and more security

I won't lie the inflatable tents do look cool but doesn't that take away the experience of camping the old fashion way or are people just want things now 😅

We have a bunch of tents, my personal favourite is my Bell Tent but we have a 5 person inflatable tunnel tent that we take to festivals.

I have a five person poled tunnel tent as well. I don't see a whole lot of difference in pitching time. It is tricky to get space to thread poles in at a festival though.

The other benefit is no poles to snap if you get caught in heavy wind. The inflatable poles feel more secure in adverse weather.

It is a heavy pack size, I can barely get it out of the boot of the car by myself.
