Ireland vs England

Hard one to call going on last week and recent form. England at home on the back of a defeat will have something to prove. Ireland need a massive improvement to come away with a win. Have to go England to win but not by a big margin. Fingers crossed I'm completely wrong though |

If we hold on to the ball and play a possession based game we'll nullify England just like Scotland did last week.
If we insist on kicking the ball away without properly contesting the kicks, it's going to be a long afternoon. |

the kicking was driving me crazy against france. those tactics against a side who are so good in broken play and off the cuff brilliance |

Run the ball back rather than kicking should see some rewards for Ireland as there were for Scotland. England rely on their kicking game without much of a plan B unless they completely change tactics for today . I’ll go Ireland by small margin |

I don't think they even got out the bed yesterday morning, never mind got going. Marcus Smith was their best player yesterday and that's saying something for a lad that needed a asthma pump half way down the pitch. He could have easily got further to the line had he not been too bothered by who was behind him |

Yes but the cheetah McCloskey was never letting him get to the line and then unceremoniously dumped him over the side. Sheer brilliance!
How they didn't pick 5 for man of the match!
Unbelievable Ireland performance, better than I've seen in about 3yrs. Wish it had been Patrick's weekend but I'll happily watch that game again then anyway and celebrate like it's 1916 |

I'm going to say a bit of both England were appalling. Worst mistake was putting them up against Wales for the first round as they always bring their A game for that match. Great to see Ireland come back from previous games tho |

Funny i said on Saturday that i still don't think were playing brilliantly and got slaughtered lol
I still don’t, we’re a bit slow and disjointed in attack, I really think that England were just that bad on saturday that it made us look good
But you can’t fault the commitment in this game |

It’s the way the draw works each year rather than a mistake! England looked poor because ireland had a real go at them and upset their game plan which is one dimensional. They are in danger of losing their two remaining games |
