I certainly don't see riots or the Israeli fans ripping up seats like the English did

.....

Israel has however caused extreme devastation in Gaza, and that certainly needs to be called out at every possible opportunity.

Exactly, no one will be doing anything like that. The worst will be booing

somewhere

I think the main disruption will happen well away from the stadium

From baggage handlers at the airport to the route taken to their hotel...nothing but protests and delays

It wouldn't surprise me if the route to the stadium gets blocked by people sitting down on the road

Inside the stadium will have a very large security presence

Flags will be removed from supporters on the way into the ground but some will get through

Boo's and whistles during the anthem to try to drown out the music

Bettystown/Balbriggan

I can’t see the game going ahead in Ireland lads. The Gardai will object. I’d be surprised if a hotel puts the team up for fear of a backlash.

Both games will end up at a neutral venue.

I’d have a lot more respect for the FAI if the refused to play them tbh.

I personally don't agree with the game going ahead. Think I'm correct in saying that after WW2, Ireland were first team to play Germany in a friendly. Hence why the Germans always had a bit of green in their away strips. Correct me if I'm wrong.

In a place not far from...

It really is a tough one. Having worked out there in the past, it's easy to say boycott but the FAI will be thinking of €€€ just as much as Irish gov and the hotels.

Best way, allow the players to decide without any consequences. Airport staff can refuse to handle goods/baggage.

As for Lansdowne Road, will all the entry and exits with imagery and conduct a silent protest without the yobbos kicking off and ruining it.

I think it's all storm in a teacup. Personally, I am more concerned about russians parading their Empire at Olympic/Paralympic games than Team Israel kicking ball in Dub.

How I see it is simple: if one decides to see the game, then see the game and enjoy the game. If one feels that burning of Star of David is in order, then, join one of the pro-Palestinian protests in town.

Paying for ticket only to behave like 1930's mob on the stadium is childish, in my personal opinion.

Having said that, that is not my position on what is happening in Middle East.
