It's hard to be honest with your thoughts in your mind and with yourself nevermind anyone else.
To honestly try and understand issues you may not like or others who are different. It takes effort and constantly.
So I wonder if honesty is hard on one level because people like things easy.
I am not including blatantly dishonest people who just don't give a fuck about you or any one else.

Are you struggling with being dishonest? Are you on the receiving end of the dishonesty of others? Sometimes dishonesty causes hurt and anguish, sometimes it's an act of kindness and protection. It's rarely simple.
I prefer to try and do the right thing. Sometimes that requires a little dishonesty - or a reframing of the truth -because brutal honesty isn't always the best course of action.

Sometimes it's difficult to be completely honest when you know it will hurt someone. As Lipstick kisses said its possible to be honest without being brutal if someone cares enough to do so.
Regarding other people, believing someone is lying to you and knowing it is 2 different things. You have to trust your instincts.
Honestly can hurt and it can also set you free |
