Yes it's increasing something that people are choosing for themselves here in ireland. There are certainly a lot of people here in the swinging scene who are choosing to be ENM / poly, but there are also many who don't. It's not interchangable. Many people here see fab as a dirty little secret rather than something that is done openly and ethically. Is it that you are looking to talk to ENM people? Or are you looking for a relationship with someone in the community? There are groups in other sites that I can't name which may be more useful than on here. Tread carefully on fab as many many on here aren't really about the "E" in ENM. |

Yes most couples here would be, as long as they are real couples and not the ones in relationships with other people and messing about. I think most singles here though aren't looking for multiple relationships and are more into serial hookups, or are just treading water until they find their person they will be monogamous with. Then there are the singles who aren't single who are definitely not ENM. I think couples here who are in genuine relationships and playing with permission/full knowledge are in a minority. I could be wrong. |

Add solo poly or relationship anarchy if you really want to blur the line between being single AND ENM.
I can only speak for myself but everything I learned about ENM I learned from experience in relationships and exposure to others in similar lifestyles
It's definitely helpful to understand the lingo and terms and such and there's some great Facebook groups and Instagram accounts that are big on the poly world but I think really nothing prepares you for the emotional journey in reality as it's so personal and unique to each person.
Going to the social events organised through the various enm and kink sites/groups is a good place to start if your into a social scene. |
