"Can you explain the principles "
Generosity First ("Giving Before Getting"): Build goodwill by helping others without expecting an immediate return. True networking is about serving others and building long-term value, not just asking for favors.
Build It Before You Need It: Networking is not a task for when you need a job; it is a lifestyle. Actively cultivate relationships well before you need assistance to build trust and credibility.
Never Eat Alone (Nurture Relationships): Use everyday activities, like eating lunch, as opportunities to build and maintain relationships. The goal is to make every interaction personal and meaningful.
Follow Up or Fail: The success of a relationship depends on consistent follow-up. Keep in touch, reach out after meetings, and keep your network warm through consistent, personalized communication.
Be a "Connector" & Build a Community: Actively connect people within your network who can benefit from one another. By becoming a trusted node in a larger network, you become indispensable and expand your own impact. |
