Dublin

Hi all, I’m looking into going to my first event. I’m fairly new to this and I can probably speak for some people on this app also.

Is there any good suggestions to do or say before heading?

Clothing- what clothes typically be worn?

Age-I’m quit young (not in my back 😂) and it has me abit nervous as to be people will be willing to chat or mingle with the lies of my age group?

Could be overthinking the whole thing, but would love some feedback on the post or privately

Read what the dress code is and if in doubt ask the organisers

Don't get pissed d*unk

Mix and get talking, found most people at socials always happy to chat.

Just enjoy yourself

Ballsbridge, City Centre

Clothing: Something with an elasticated waist so you can whip the lad out at a moments notice

Age: middle age to coffin dodgers, there’s always quite a spread at events

Westmeath The West.

Just manage your expectations. Go with the intention of having fun, meeting and chatting with new people. Just be yourself, be sociable and don't drink too much.

Some people may not be interested in chatting to single men, (and from experience, some single men are this way too) so just be pleasant and move along.

For me, I look at events as a great way to get to know people which can lead to a meet at a later date.

Enjoy!

Mr.

Holiday to Gran Canaria

If there is a chat open, chat in it, let people get to know you so when you actually meet it feels like you know them and them you
