"Guys... did anyone else realise you can book hotel rooms by the hour in Dublin? What the fuck this is a game changer...."
Day booking are great. I've only used when flying back into the country after a job abroad.

I work a lot in London and do it over there a lot but over in Dublin I never knew it was a thing. Makes organising meets a lot easier now

Where it says Ireland type in Cork.
There is definitely availability, but it's in June. Go through each date and it'll pop up which is available.
Now they'll have cancellations so it's often worth re-checking other dates. |

With regards to the thread title, are there hotels that actually do rooms by the hour?
My experience with dayuse suggests that it's basically 9 - 5 or something similar, rather than an hourly thing. I'd love to know if anywhere does hourly rooms. |

With Day Use you can pick your arrival and departure time, so no issue for one hour. Just be aware you'll more than likely be charged the particular hotel day rate regardless. |

Yes, that's what I thought. I wouldn't refer to that as rooms but the hour. The thréad title got mé excited but the reality let me down somewhat.
On a side note, I remember when the Darndale Hilton charged €50 duit rooms between 9 and 5. That wasnt that long ago either, certainly less than ten years ago. Now they're looking for something like €150 or €175. |
