Normally I can't have cheese on a pizza because I'm lactose intolerant but I had an authentic pepperoni pizza in Italy a month ago that was made with lactose free mozzarella and it was by far the best pizza I can remember having in 20 years. |

I'm not a fan of any takeout pizzas I've eaten. My favourite is the frozen ristorante mozzarella and pesto one and I put cambozola on it. I'd choose that any day...
Although tesco finest mozzarella one comes a close second. |

"Zia Pina Pizzeria Restaurant,
George St., Sydney Harbour.
Calzone.
Most take out pizza takes on the taste of the cardboard box it is packed in.
Oven straight to table every time.
🍕🍷🍺"
🤔... I do like a Calzone! |

The best pizza I've ever had used to be served in a place called The Bad Ass Cafe back in the 80's
Waitress would take your order and place it into a little pully system hanging from the ceiling and send it to the kitchen
The pizza was to die for |

"Hail Caesar from Dough Bros
Essentially the elements of a Caesar salad on a pizza and fucking delish"
Personally been to Dough Bros twice and have been so let down by it both times. Not sure if I just got unlucky both times as everyone raves about them.
Love a Calzone myself too |

The Jackal in Navan is really good, with some interesting combinations and craft beers on tap.
Place in Strawberry Hall also very good.
If cooking at home, the new Suprema from Dr Oetker is the new king of frozen pizza but if wanting to do it almost yourself, we highly recommend https://www.pizzabellissima.ie/ |

Speaking of Pizza's past, anyone remember the Independent Pizza in Drumcondra, back in the 80's, when Pizza's were a novelty.
The best pizza I recently had was a few weeks ago after an accidental skinfull of Guinness, about 1.30 am and hadn't eaten since lunchtime, wasn't expecting to find anywhere open at that hour and was starving, an Eskimo special with chips and a can of |

I also remember The Bad Ass in Temple Bar. It's still there but was too busy last time I was passing so can't vouch for it now.
Anybody near Duleek should try Tribe. Excellent atmosphere and the spicy brisket pizza was very good |

Pizza Napoli slices in Galway are consistently good.
Just had one from Gatto Negra stall in Eyre square... unbelievable.
All that without mentioning Dough Brothers Galway voted 13th in the world pizza competition.
