I hear what you're saying, and I'd never write a verification along those lines, but you have to remember that people have to choose to display a verification.
If the person has displayed the verification, and the details it contains, then they must be ok with that.
If you don't like it, perhaps just avoid those folks. |

There are none bad, just some more cringe than others 
This post is light hearted and absolutely each to their own.
