What’s your opinions on discovering that you’re chatting to a real life friend or neighbour or maybe work colleague? Have you met up, blocked them, said oh damn ok 🙈 what do we do here??

I wouldn’t block, I don’t think there would be a need to honestly, it’s happened to me twice and met both ladies for fun as well and there was never an issue being honest. Just wondering other people experiences?

Know quite a few on here from real life, turned some to the dark side . Not sure why people are too bothered by it all.

I got chatting with a couple here. Soon had a feeling I knew them and quickly came to the conclusion that I did. I didn't say it to them, just backed away to save any awkwardness. They wouldn't be the type to want anyone to know their business and neither am I. I guess how you would react to such situations depends on the individual(s).

I ask people like that what their opinion is about bumping into people they know on here, because personally it doesn’t bother me but like you said it could be awkward for the other person/persons

We have come across a few we know here. I have to agree what happens here, stays on here. It's a mutual respect thing I guess too. ☺️

The main reason I’m asking is because some people on here can be quite local and I was chatting to a lady today and she admitted she’s very private and the minute she realised we live fairly close together she panicked and hid her profile… a while later she came back and apologised ( I didn’t see a need to but it was nice of her to)

Yes we would (and have) blocked people we've spotted who we know on here. It's not really for us as we don't care. It's out of consideration for their privacy and potential embarrassment.

We use "who's near" to eliminate people in close proximity, also in conversation if we establish they are nearby, we just tell them they're too close for comfort.

It really depends on the person.

There are a couple of guys I've known a lifetime who aren't blocked. We're aware of each others presence here, have interacted platonically and I know there's mutual discretion.

I err on the side of caution though and block people I don't know particularly well, or not at all but live very close by,

I've blocked one guy because I didn't feel comfortable around him and it turned out he lived two doors down and I don't want to be put under pressure.

He knows I live alone, and he's creepy.

With others I think we'll we are all here for the same thing. I like making swinger friends even if we don't have attraction or play, and so I'd hang out with those people anyway. If anyone outside of the LS asked 'we took a night class together years ago' or other some such vague reason to know them - if asked.

I’ve met a customer on here. Chatted for a few days. She decided to send me a face picture. I nearly shat myself and I honestly was thinking someone is using her picture from Facebook. Decided to WhatsApp with small chat. Asked her if the name Tango means anything to her, and it did. We have had many’s a social and out for food. We have a very clear boundary that we can only be friends which is great because we can be very open with each other and we enjoy each other’s company. Can say I’ve come across anyone else o think I know and if I do I’d ask the simple question of “how do you or yous feel about meeting someone yous might know” I’ve no problem saying who I am but i would respect their decision if the don’t meet locals. Friendship with other likeminded people rather they be local or not is very much welcome in my life. It doesn’t have to be about the riding

See this is the attitude I think everyone should have, not the habitual instant blocking of people.

That's a nice story there _om tango. Making new friends is actually far harder than meeting someone for sex You got lucky tho. There are plenty of weird creepy unhinged people on here who would relish making someones life difficult for no good reason.

Someone who works for me was on fab. Just blocked and forgot. Safest for everyone.

But no two people are the same. It may be welcome in your life but it might not be in others.

If it works for you that's cool but you have to respect that other people do this lark in whatever way works for them.
