"Not a while lot by the looks of it. A bit of a flop maybe ? "
It's going to be hard to live up to GOT to be fair, but I enjoy it as connected but seperate, and when I stop comparing I enjoy it for what it is |

"I enjoyed it in general but thought it was a very differnt style to GOT and that it might not have great broad appeal"
GOT was an absolute game changer for TV , and with current developments in social attitudes we'll never see a show like it, intricate dialogue, gore, political scheming, tits and dragons, we're never going to see a show like it again.
I feel HOTD is a good show, it's a bit more polished than GOT with some questionable adaptations for sure. But I'm still enjoying it |

What parts of GOT do you not think could happen now because of social attitudes? |

"I never paid too much attention to this as I though a spin off of GOT might be a bit meh. If its worth a watch then maybe ill give it a chance"
First seasons is brilliant, second season is shite but the third season is holding up well so far |

A lot of the cast have talked about Me too movement, one example was Emelia Clarke complaining that for her nudes scenes she would be completely naked to the point where Jason Momoa would have thrown a towel on her, the graffic sex scenes in GOT, especially when a lot depicts bad acts upon women.
Ewan Mitchell (who plays Aemond) made it a point to do fully naked scenes to show solidarity with them. |
