after reading another post about a woman getting injured and the guy in question deleting his profile , we all know he is going to come back under a different name. we belive that fab should have a filter system in place in

These people could just set up with a fake face photo too.

I think IP addresses should be used more by admin

All information including ISP passed immediately to police ant leave it to the experts to catch the fuckers.

Some keyboard warriors here(not op) risk prejudicing cases by their actions....

Whats poorly missing here is a good home page with tips and guides on swinging and meets like you see on other sites.

Another one is email verification. I.e. can't access site unless your email is verified.

Phone verification if using Mobiles.

Lot of basic website security issues missing.

Can't block IP's as they are usually dynamic and will change all the time.

Another valid point in why there should be some fee for joining

In cases like this there credit card details could be used to track them

. there are so many options out there and maybe its not easy to get one system to work . but putting a few systems in place can surly

help

Once reported admin should be able to block them for good they have there ip address or better still track them to there address its a disgrace that its been left go on still in fact its seems to be more common recently..

Fab is a swingers contact site and the Garda are the law enforcement agency. Rape Crisis Centre are angels. Simple as.

Fab users should definitely look out for each other but also recognize that it is a very basic website. Fab is competing against loads of other sites, if they don't provide a secure system people are free to leave and go elsewhere, and they will.

The other more international site with three letters which is bloody expensive is very good. As a couple you can make your profile totally invisible to single-males/non-verified/non-paid-up whatever. You get what you pay for.

I agree but some basic security programming code is lacking that won't cost.

that if a profile is reported there face pic should be stored on a system and if they try to set up another profile it will sound alarm bells to admin and they can stop the profile. everyones safty is all our problem but it also fabs problem and something needs to be done . "
even thought these scumbags shouldbt get away with what they do to others they are still protected under data protection laws. thats how they do and always will get away with it

If a criminal offense has been committed then it needs reporting to police forces. They can request ip address (at a particular time) info from Fab. Fab can pass this info over. Ip addresses can be traced to ISP. Isps can see who is using an ip address as any identified time and individuals can be identified. This leads to an address which can be visited by police forces.

maybe thats where the problem lies. dont think any genuine people would have a problem paying a fee that would help make a site safer, yes we no some people would leave but maybe but the genuine ones would deffo stay

If a crime has been committed and has been reported the police will get in touch with Admin and Admin will give them any information they need.

There was a comment about a "tips" page on how to stay safe, there is one on the FAQ page.
