One for the guitarists on here. What is the best one you have played.

I played a lowden last night and was blown away. It has it all - great highs and lows , nice tone and loud. It's great that it is irish.

I've had a crack at most , Gibson . Taylor , Martin ,

Fender, dobro.

Could the best acoustic guitar in the world really be irish ?

Lowden guitars are really nice. Feels "alive" to play if you know what I mean. Well priced too

Always wanted one. Played it once for 10 minutes then was politely asked to leave the store in new York lol

Prs - never played one - will keep an eye out-

Lowden - at 3k , they are not cheap but yeah - good value I suppose.

I would love a white falcon ,great sound .

I'm going to have to stick to gibson, for the music i love to play they're perfect.

Though i have an acoustic that cost me 20 quid at a car boot, its not a major brand but plays like a dream

I had a gorgeous 79 Fender Lead.

Bought it for 200 in a 100 Peices

Spent around 100 hours and a good few hundred doing it up and my god it was only gorgeous to play.

The best sounding fender I've played hands down the brightest tones imaginable..

I traded it for an acoustic that I needed... Still regret it to this day.

I did wonder about the sense of posting a guitar thread at 7.30 Sunday morning!

Best acoustic I ever need played: lowden or Taylor

Electric: prs, ibanez or gibson...and some fenders.

Bass: musicman, fender jazz or Warwick.

I've built up a nice collection over the years. 5 basses and 2 guitars.
