Bruising fast? ? Other than arnica.. using the cream and tablets.

Had a rather overexcited hound dog with sharp nails encounter in work ,and my calf muscle looks like I got mauled (which I kinda did.... But not in a bad way!.. )

any advice ? as it looks horrendous and is getting worse by the hour! !

around

Ya arnica is the best. If its getting worse its getting better..if you get my meaning. Only other thing is to use cover up make up to conceal it.

Our rugby doctor dips a bandage in milk and wraps the affected area tells us to leave it as long as possible. I use arnica after and bruising is usually gone the next day. I dunno what the milk does but i guess it works on some people

Not sure but I guess it has a calming affect in the surrounding skin. As I said it works on me but not everyone, sure it's worth a go

If the bruising is still there for your public talk... get some Sally Hanson on it... it'll cover it really well

I think this is what's called a 'Poultice' it's usually bread and milk though (sometimes onion too). Old wives remedy. The penicillin in the mold on the bread and the bacteria in the milk are supposed to have some combined heeling effect. Not sure if it works for everything though. But always worth a try! I think most holistic treatments like these are more about PMA.

Ps sounds painful! hope you're heeling well! X I'd stick with the arnica tablets and cream

I bruise really easily. Arnica tablets are brilliant but not the cream.
