Bastards.
Lashing up the price of my tv and Internet connection and I can't even compare my willy size to their remotes anymore because of this horizon thing.
I'd believe in better if I had an alternative. |

I'm with Sky but I don't have the internet bundle with them as I've been told by a few it's pants. So I pay for unlimited separately. Think I might get one of those cloud tv box things. Anyone using it? Any good? |

Try to cancel on any of them and you'll get the same response |

Purely for monetary value, Eircom, €40 per month. That's E-fibre broadband, landline phone with no call package, free T.V. for 12 months which then goes up to €10 per month for the remaining 6 months of contract. I think their packages might be a bit better than that again now.
The variety of T.V. channels aren't what you'd be used to with SKY etc. but I mainly watch E4, channel 4 etc. and they are on it. With E-fibre broadband you can watch anything you miss online. I watch on my T.V. via my laptop using a HDMI cable. Their multiroom is cheaper too. For the sake of halving my entertainment bill each month I think it's a good alternative.
I've had no major problems with them. All providers will charge you an early termination fee for prematurely terminating your contract, that's why you're in a contract. |
