I'm shy at first, but I'm quite comfortable in male company. I worked as a bartender in a former life, so had to be confident or I wouldn't have been able to keep the job. We had a mostly male clientele. |

The biggest mistake people make is confusing confidence with arrogance. Youthful arrogance is tamed buy experience  right now I am quietly confident but not afraid to be put in my place by the right person |

I used to be shy were id go red like a cherry in school but took acting classes to get over it ,now I cant shut up ,poetic irony |

wouldn't say I am confident just a really good actress. ....I would be confident in general male company ....however give me a handsome saùve male in suit and i get all shy girlie and tongue tied

I am painfully shy. I remember the pre Xmas social in Dublin where I sat down stairs for 45 minutes bricking it fearing pointing fingers and whispers before heading upstairs. That said when you meet your equal shyness is irrelevant. 1 person out of 200 can turn you from a kitten into a lion  |
