Its nonsense. Its basically almonds with water and sweetners added. They are blended together and the pulp is removed so its of no real benefit. A handful of almonds to snack on would be far better for you. Sorry to say that youre basically paying a lot of money for water with an almond taste.

Of course there's water in it ....Cow milk is 80% odd water!!

You can buy with sweetners of course. But I find it tastes great without. Great way of adding protein into the diet

For people who can't/choose not to drink regular milk its a nice option. As is coconut or oat milk. Which are more sustainable.

Its not actually adding protein to the diet if the pulp is removed, which is the main source of protein. Try making your own almond milk and see the difference in what you make and what is made commercially.

Processed food is very often of lower standard than the ingredients that go in and also promises additional value that isn't true. Best example are all those probiotic drinks like actimel, they're full of sugar and have no proven benefits whatsoever

There can also be additives to thicken it like carrageenan which has been linked to other health issues. Nice, fresh, organic cow's milk in moderation for me.

I used to drink it but it takes some stupid amount of water to grow and almond and they mainly grow in desert California...so I figured I'd keep it local and with a milking process I understand.
