So ill be entertaining a lady "friend" who is visiting Ireland.
Ill be staying the night in Dublin city. So need a hotel..
It's not guaranteed that we will end up in our birthday suits
But it is likely.
What are the protocols for bringing a guest to a room i booked for myself?
She is gonna be in a hotel on her visit and its a shared room, so that's no help should things get a little more hands on.
Do I let the hotel know or book a room for 2?
Thanks |

"Anyone know a good hotel at a reasonable price
In dublin city? Reasonable.... No chance. Best off going slightly outside the city "
Hmm im seeing places for 70 that are alright.
But you have a point! Ill expand the search |

"Just book a double room
The booking site says 1 or 2 people assume that means for single or double bed?
Thanks for the reply "
If the site asks for 1 or 2 people, say 2, then if you're alone you can always say you're friend couldn't make it.. that's in the unlikely event that you'd be asked |

"It's ok to bring a guest with you if the booking site says 1 or 2 people"
Yes but he should inform the hotel because there is a single rate and double rate regardless of the size of the bed in the room... |
