The problem is idiots with camera phones recording everything. I'm glad they weren't around when I was a younger. We could get up to alsorts and not have to worry about it being taped. Lesson learned for him.
As for the GAA supposedly (according to the teams watsapp group) they are being threatened with not being allowed compete next year over it |

"I know they're amateurs, but that's a massive a school boy error. It's not like videos on phones are a new thing. And it wasn't an undercover journo taking those videos and pics either. They took those videos and pics so they could brag to their mates later. And that's why some people on here are vary of younger guys. No sympathy for them. The Thicks. " |

Apparently the 21st birthday party story was released to try and absolve any blame being attached to the club over the incident.the issue of what happened in the bar isn't that serious in itself.but word has it that the video footage was sent to a whatsapp group of parents/mentors for an underage camogie team and this is where the uproar has come from I'm led to believe. |

Everyone moaning about idiots with their phones recording it is complete nonsense. 90% of men commenting in this forum would have probably recorded it as well if they were there. It's the norm these days.

Talk of them being stripped of the cup which is a joke.
Wouldn't wanna be the team handed the cup by default.
I wouldn't want it. Wouldn't have earned it and it'd be laughed at if you tried saying you won it.
It's sad that it's being blown out of proportion. |

It’s not next year they are being threatened with. They won county championship and are now in Leinster championship and talk of them being kicked out. |

It's absolutely ridiculous and pathetic that this story makes news and has consequences for a sports club in 21st century Ireland. Never to mention the young lad, just feel sorry for him.
The person who recorded and spilled it should be deeply ashamed and nobody else. |

"The girls they hired were prostitutes from a Romanian gang.not nice people
How do you know that? "
Oh I know, the people running these girls are pretty brutal, many against their own will, although not saying that about these particular ones. They use legit businesses as a cover. |

I got sent the video of it it happened.
Look lads having a bit of craic blowing off steam. Morons with smart phones as always. Phones need to be in a box for stuff like that.
I also feel sorry for the lads as someone sent me a pic of the two escorts they hired ads and let's just say heavy photoshopping their.
They might have a false marketing claim |

I sincerely hope that young guy is ok. He should just say fuck ye all...I enjoyed it...and I dont give a flying fuck. Alas, I doubt that will be his reaction.
Its easy for a 'mature' man like me to say that, I know. I just hope he can deal with it. |

If 90% of men would record it then we’d have seen lots of different angles of the video by now. One guy recorded it and spread it. He should be ostracised by the group. Probably the same kind of busybody that rubbernecks at car accidents. |

I'm at a loss to understand why this is such a big news story. Bunch of young fellas on a big night out get d*unk and have some fun. Everyone who's out this weekend better be on their best behaviour, you never know who might be recording you.......which, by the way, for my money is where the story is. Why anyone felt the need to publicise what happened is beyond me. It's an invasion of privacy in as much as an act done in public can be 'private'. The young man in question should just keep out of sight for a couple of days, this will soon be old news, and as far as I know no one has yet died of embarrassment, even though I've come pretty close a few times. |

"Hard to believe it’s making news!!!
Although the hitler rant video about it is hilarious "
Well given the stir it's caused on this thread and links and videos being sent around the place then no, it's not hard to believe. |

I think the GAA attitude to women is evident here, these women were paid for to celebrate an amateur sport. The attitude here is that women are a commodity and because they were "foreign" meant they did not have to respect them more. They are no different to Premier league players and if it's true about sending it to the camogie team well that says it all really. The GAA is the next scandal after the church and the banks, think about it people who are pillars of the community, connected to the establishment it just hasn't got out yet as they are seen as gods amongst men |

they treated them like a commodity because they were foreign???
try, because they were prostitutes.
because thats what they were paid for.
As much as i think the GAA is taking advantage of players and fans to line the pockets of managers and officials with fat envelopes of cash, i hardly think its in the same line as a church scandal.
it was less interesting than a stag doin fairness. |

Believe me it's there its just people choose not to see it like they did with the church, after all it's not like the GAA and the church don't have a close relationship |

Rubbish.. The GAA has and is doing more good to this island of ours than bad, what they had done are still doing for the youth of Ireland abroad is brilliant..

This is no offence to anyone the posted or would post
Social al media has a lot to blame. People have to put down there phones.
Saw an accident bout 2 weeks ago got involved to help out - when I asked for help people were more interested in filming what was going on than rather help a fellow human being
People put down ur phone - people don’t need to see what ur seeing
