My apologies for any offence caused. Etiquette is obviously a little different from one region to another as most of the trans community I know here or in the UK use the term T girl to refer to themselves no matter if they are in the process of making the transition, or cross dressing (Once someone has made the transition fully, they're a woman). It's just viewed as an inclusive abbreviation.

May I ask why you haven't chosen to change your profile to female? Most people I know who have gone through the gender change process can't wait to change it and officially be the woman they always wanted to be... Its a hugely exciting moment for them
I don't refer to women as anything other than women, whether they were born a woman or not. Same with men. I think TGirl for most of us is simply used as an inclusive way of describing all men who either cross-dress, or wish to become women, or are in the process of becoming one. It's not a comment on sexuality, but a means to include all those who express and celebrate their feminine side.
I can't speak for Irish men. I'm not one. But if it's any consolation, many men wouldn't date or publicly be seen with any female from this site either, and vice versa. People have their own personal hangups.
Again, I apologise if I offended anyone by my use of the term TGirl. I think it's pretty clear that my intent in creating this thread was one of celebration and support, and those who posted in that spirit and showed their love are probably equally as humbled by having unintentionally caused offence.

I don't classify myself as female for one simple reason. When I did on other sites when I told people my status as transgender after a few mails ( usually about three) they felt cheated and made complaints to the website admin. On those sites i also got the pervs when my status was trans So in practice you can't win. So I'm no longer on any site but Fab |

Oh bugger that. If you've gone through all that effort to become a woman, change your profile! If you're concerned that anyone may, as you say, feel cheated, put a note on your profile text to say that you are transgender. Let folk decide then what they will, but at least you'll know that those who do want to meet you are informed and happy |

The term t-girl is used a lot in Ireland. It's used by people who like cock, and people who want to target themselves at them men.
Everyone knows that, and its why the women born in the wrong bodies don't like it. Cause they know a guy looking for a t-girl is not looking for a woman, that guy is pretty much only, 100% only interested in them for the dick between their legs.

So clearly the problem on fab is not enough gender designations, the only option is TV/TS some make an effort in their profile and explain what stage they are at and how the wish and deserve to be addressed. Some don’t so people run the risk of offending them when they mail them which I’d imagine in most cases is unintentional. |

Just trying to make it easier for all involved and to promote understanding and acceptance. The first line in a message ask how do I address you is unlikely to get a reply. You can’t really write a message without knowing the proper gender as the grammar will be all over the shop let alone the message you are trying to convey. Further more some want to meet CD’s some pre op transgender women and some post op trans gender women. It would save a lot of unnecessary and for some recipients unwanted messages. |

My apologies for any offence caused. Etiquette is obviously a little different from one region to another as most of the trans community I know here or in the UK use the term T girl to refer to themselves no matter if they are in the process of making the transition, or cross dressing (Once someone has made the transition fully, they're a woman). It's just viewed as an inclusive abbreviation.
Admittedly, I don't personally know any of the hot pic ladies, or how they term themselves, so I'll defer to someone who does "
