The actual Fake Taxi is based in London. Sutton I believe.
I've had a great meet with a guy who was a taxi driver once and I felt like i was making a fake Taxi scene. Was a lot of fun and would highly recommend.

Your be best off finding someone with a unplated ex cab as if caught being drove around by an licenced driver they will lose their taxi badge, which is their income, and would flag up on any dsb check which will make them unemployable in any driving industry. Sorry to be a party pooper 
The Hackney lights that stick on top are cheap as chips, long as the driver isn't actually touting for business, I'm sure Impersonation of a cabbie is less likely to ruin someone's livelihood |

I have run a fake chauffeur service in my car. all rear windows blacked out and nobody can see in. Not done it in a couple of years due to work and covid but happy to accommodate anyone who wants to try it. London and cardiff based. PM me if you wish to know more. |
