"We are visiting London for a weekend soon, just wondering which place is better Rio’s or ignite? Any feedback back would be great thanks in advance " . Although I go to Rios every month or two that is mainly because of time constraints and it’s easier for me to get too and from.If you have plenty of time then Ignite is probably better as not only do they have spa facilities but also a big pool , cinema, dark room and dungeon area. With Rios there is no annual membership fee but with Ignite there is. Rios is near Kentish Town underground station.Ignite I believe you need a bus from Heathrow underground station. I guess you may want to check your location , budget and time management for travel as well as how long you want to spend at Rios or Ignite before making your choice.Enjoy your weekend in London.

I used to take my sub to Rios but it was always full of inexperienced desperate males. We witnessed a fight there, some guy touched someone's fem in the outdoors part, asked for an apology, it didn't come.it was like the 3rd world was in that night, haven't been back.. |

The problem with Rios is there is no membership and they just let anybody in off the street. Plus, facilities wise it's not really been done up in about 35 years.
Ignite is much better but £25 membership per year per person, although they were doing some offer where you didn't have to pay on your first visit or you got some kind of credit or something?
Anyway, full details on the website, just type Ignite Heathrow into your favourite search engine. |

If you want guys following you around and standing outside play rooms then Rios is your place, that’s if you can get a room as most of the time the guys are sitting in empty rooms waiting for something to happen. I find it an absolute hell hole and nothing would make me visit there again! The guys look at women like they are meat ready to be pounced on.
Ignite every time, its membership but its membership for a reason! |

Agree 100%, Rio's is a hell hole, feel like a zombi movie sometimes with guys following couples around . |

Rio's was better when they had couples night. No longer do that therefore we will not return, it could get out of hand very quickly.
The spa facilities are better at Rio, the sauna and steam rooms, the pool is better at Ignite. But overall, ignite facilities are great, bar area, cinema , better changing facilities, lounges to chill, but you do still get the wanking dead following you around unfortunately. |

Rios has a great Sauna and steam rooms. Large jacuzzi and two smaller hot tubs that are always well used. Open shower areas and back garden you can smoke and chill in basically. I've gone there as a couple and single man with no issues. Yes, you will get a few wanking dead following couples but a stern look is enough for me to tell em where to go. And they generally go away. The staff are great especially at the bar. The place needs upgrading definitely but it's clean and adequate on the whole.
Location is tremendous as there are 3 major underground/overground and rail link stations close by and people love the fact you just arrive pay the fee and use the facilities. There's also a cold plunge pool. I suggest you go during the day where is more relaxed and more likely to meet couples. It's open till 7am Weds to Saturdays now. Worth a visit imho.
It's bring your own booze venue and they do serve cold and hot drinks for free. The TV lounge area is excellent and can watch all major sports events there if you wish. I like the fact you can order in food and staff will collect and serve them to you. They are very helpful.
Ignite has excellent facilities but spa section lacks a Sauna and adequate steam rooms. The jacuzzis are smaller than usual with bits falling off which they really needs to fix. Some days the pool and hot tubs are not hot enough. The playrooms are excellent and staff run the place very well. However, it's pretty empty on weekdays whenever I've been. There's a couples only room and dungeon area upstairs; also a very popular cinema room. There's a dark room and tiny gloryholes room which is rarely used. Personally I prefer the old set up where you had more private rooms upstairs but I'm being picky. The playrooms by the jacuzzi downstairs are excellent and so is the massive Pool area.
Rios gets way more traffic during the week due to location and easy access. And fact that, on the main, it's cheap and cheerful. I'd recommend to try them both on the same weekend bc I've had good and bad times at various venues but on the whole they are both places I enjoy for very different reasons. Hope I've explained this adequately and you're welcome to reach out for more info. |

No comparison Rios is a dump and stated groups of men sitting in the private rooms stopping couples playing unless there’re in the room all from Eastern Europe . Ignite great facilities and nice friendly people. |

Heathrow is better by quite a margin. Just a shame it's quite far out for me (SE London). Having been to several classy naturist and liberal spas across mainland Europe, Rios is frankly disappointing. IMO, a location in central London with a bit more class would be good for everyone. One day I plan to put my energies towards that. |
