In 2026, do you feel that FabSwingers has become a bit of a fake place to meet people? It’s nothing like it was a few years ago. Back then, I met plenty of couples and single women through this site. In fact, I didn’t even need to message people most of the time—I would regularly receive messages from couples or women looking to meet. Now it feels completely different.
Recently, I’ve noticed a lot of brand-new profiles appearing, many of them only a few days old. How can you trust meeting someone with no verification and a brand-new profile?
Another thing I’ve noticed is the events page. I hardly see any club events anymore. If you check on a Saturday, there are only around 10 listings, whereas last year there would be two or three pages of events. I don’t understand it. It almost feels like people are giving up on the website, or that the swinging community in the UK is slowly getting smaller.
Take Ignite spa in Heathrow on a Sunday as an example. It used to be packed with couples, single women, and men. There was barely any room in the pool or the jacuzzi. Now, when you go, it feels almost empty. The same goes for the club events I’ve attended. Some nights are still good, but overall it feels like there are far fewer people than there used to be.
Another thing I’ve noticed is the number of users shown as online now. You’ll see 25,000 users online, yet hardly anyone seems to be genuinely looking to meet. I even created an AI bot to analyse the site, and it estimated that over 70% of active profiles were single men and TVs, only around 8% were single women, and about 22% were couples. If I owned the site, I’d probably stop accepting new registrations from single men for a while to improve the balance. At the moment, it honestly feels like you have a better chance of meeting a couple or a single woman in a pub or bar than on here.
Finally, why does the FabSwingers events page show so few club and private events, yet when you visit the clubs’ own websites, they have plenty of events listed? Something doesn’t seem right. Either there’s an issue with the website, or clubs are choosing not to advertise here anymore.
What do you all think? Have you noticed the same changes, or is it just me? I’d really appreciate hearing your thoughts. |
