Heat rash!

Jump to: Newest in thread

Hello - has anyone experienced what I believe to be a 'prickly heat' rash?

Nastly little spotty buggers on shoulder, back, torso. I get them about twice a summer and they disappear after a week or so but wondered if anyone has found a quicker cure?

*Scratches head....and elsewhere!

NB. No, it has not spread below the waist thankfully!

Thanks to all so far. I might even have a crack at all of the above for good measure. I will be sleepy and smell really odd but if it works.......!

Haha, now there's an offer but I'm not sure it's too attractive. Are you sure that isn't a rash decision?

rochdale

Never used to, but i (Sara) did a decent sized road ride last Saturday of some 62 miles/6000ft ascent and 'cos it was so hot i was sweating buckets.

Ended up with a rather tender bum/inner thigh area due to a sweat rash

Mind you, getting caught in the heavy rain tonight whilst out on the MTB helped to cool it down

Solihull

used to get it on the back of the hands when a kid, found out that by filling a sink with cold water and putting wrists under it seemed to cool the blood and stop the itching

dont know if it would work for upper body though

try a cold shower it might work
